The Housing Authority of the City of Booneville, 801 College Street, Booneville, MS 38829 is soliciting proposals from qualified Attorney’s or Firms for a legal services provider to serve as counsel for RAD re-development and development of replacement housing utilizing low income tax credit transactions, market rate initiatives, bonds, and/or other financing options.
Information for this solicitation may be obtained in person at the BHA’s Administrative Office located at 801 College Street, Booneville, MS 38829, via email bha@boonevilleha.com, via website (https://boonevilleha.com), or by calling (662) 728-4032. Written sealed responses to this solicitation must be submitted to the BHA at the Administrative office of the Housing Authority at the above address before 4:00 p.m. CST on August 30th, 2023.
Selection will comply with Handbook No. 7460.8 REV 2 (7.2) Competitive Proposal Process. The contents of the proposals received will be held in confidence and not released in any manner until after selection or contract award per (7460.8(7.2)(J); However, the applicable provisions of Federal, State and local laws shall govern the confidentiality of proposals despite anything contrary to this provision stated in the proposal.
The Housing Authority of the City of Booneville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposal. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the above date, without the consent of the Housing Authority.
